How does ordering work?
Browse, add to cart, check out, and pick the pickup point you'll collect from. Your order goes on the next scheduled run that stops there (see Pickup runs & dates). Orders close 6pm the Friday before each run.
Do you ship?
Not meat. We hand every order over frozen at a pickup point on our Brisbane or Sunshine Coast run. Orders of $500 or more can ask for free home delivery in South East Queensland, by arrangement: we'll text you to fit it in before, between or after the stops, and if it can't fit, you collect at your stop as usual. Opals and crystals do post Australia-wide.
Where are the pickup points?
Samford, Dayboro, North Lakes and Bribie Island Co-op on every run, plus Erbacher's Fruit & Veg (David Low Way), Nambour and Mapleton on Sunshine Coast runs.
On the way, only if someone orders there (we drive right past): Stanthorpe (very early, about 4:50am), Warwick (about 5:50am), Aratula (about 7am), Ipswich at Yamanto (about 7:45am) and Caboolture (Big Fish, about 2pm) on every run.
Sunday morning drop-offs on the way home after a Sunshine Coast run, only if someone orders: Maleny (about 4:50am), Kilcoy (5:40am), Esk (6:30am), Gatton (7:20am), Toowoomba (8am) and Clifton (8:45am). These are drop-offs only, so please pay beforehand by PayID or bank transfer: we don't take payments on a Sunday. Don't live close to a pickup point? Give us a call and we'll see what we can organise.
How often do you run?
The Brisbane-side stops about every two weeks, and the Sunshine Coast stops about once a month, always on a Saturday, and never in school holidays or on long weekends. Weekly in the lead-up to Christmas.
Can I see where the van is on run day?
Yes. On a run day, follow the van live: pick your stop and it shows how far away the van is and when it should reach you.
How is the meat packed?
Every cut is cryovaced in meal-sized packs by our butcher and kept frozen until it's in your hands. Bring an esky.
Why do pack weights vary?
Because it's real meat, cut by hand. We sell by weight band — for example 500–550 g — at a fixed price per pack, so you know what you're paying before you order.
How are the animals raised?
Every animal is born and raised on our family's farms on the Granite Belt, about 600 acres between them. Beef is grass-fed and grass-finished Angus — pasture, plus hay and a bit of molasses through winter, never grain or a feedlot. Pigs live outside all year on certified organic feed and organic apple pulp. No hormones, no vaccines, no routine drenching; any animal that ever needs treating is sold elsewhere, not to you. We're not certified organic. The full, honest rundown is on How We Farm.
Can I order for a later run?
Yes. Add a note in your cart with the run date you want and we'll hold your order for it.
Can I get the same order every run?
Yes. Get in touch and we'll set up a standing order: every fortnight, every month, or every two or three months.
Can I buy in bulk?
Yes — 1/8 and 1/4 beef shares and whole lambs, butchered to order and sold on hanging weight. See Boxes & shares or ask us about the next available share.
How do I pay?
By PayID or bank transfer when you order (the details come with your order confirmation), or with cash when you collect. Sunday drop-offs are paid beforehand.
Can I visit or camp?
Yes. We host campers through Hipcamp — see Camping. For a farm visit, get in touch.
Do you sell opals and crystals?
We do. The boulder opals are stones Steven and his son dug themselves on a mate's lease near Opalton, in western Queensland. The smoky quartz comes from our own property. See them here. They're being valued now, and each stone will be listed on its own with its weight and size. We're happy to send more photos before you buy.
